Hi all! I've seen there's a lot of knowledge here and given that my rig is getting quite old I was wondering about doing an upgrade of the GPU (already did the same with my RAM and monitor).
My specs are:
Micro: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Mother: MSI B350M Bazooka
RAM: 2x8GB ADATA low value
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 3GB SC Gaming
Case: Antec 1200 V3
Power supply: Topower 800W 80
Drives: 1x Corsair 120GB M.2 MP500 + 2x500GB WD
WiFI PCI Card: TP Link TX50E
I'm not a high performance gamer, I just play as a hobby, so I'm not really into latest technology as you can see. Also, I don't mind downgrading a little bit the video quality if that improves significantly the smoothness of the game. Nevertheless, I do like to have good graphics tho.
To give more context, nowadays the little free time I have I'm playing COD: Warzone with almost everything at low except some settings @60-90fps. I also play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but in this case almost everything at top, really smooth.
That said, I've been doing some research and found out this Asus GTX 1660 Super Phoenix OC which I think it'd be a nice upgrade but I still have doubts
I also received a recommendation about some cards that will take 2.5 slots but I feel it won't fit in my current set up. For that matter, I'm attaching an image with a drawing on the PCI spaces I currently have.
I know part of the decision relies on the budget available, but given I'm from Argentina this would be a hard item to take into consideration.
Hopefully you can point me into the right direction.
