I've been stewing on this and I'm ready to make it happen. I just can't figure out the best way to do it.

I want to go wireless for my sound. I have a cable box, Roku and I'll soon have a PS4 that I want to listen to wirelessly. I've thought about getting a home audio receiver with bluetooth but then I'm paying for a ton of features I'm not going to use. I would also like to keep this small.

Is there anything out there with HDMI switching and bluetooth output?

What kind of wireless sound are we talking about? Headphones? Stereo? Stereo & sub? Surround-sound with power speakers? Can the front speakers be wired? Vizio makes a nice 5.1 soundbar with a wireless sub that the rears connect to, so you basically just drop the bar in front of the TV, plug the sub in behind the couch & hookup the sats to it, voila:

If you just need stereo & want to stream to say a pair of Bluetooth headphones, they make a combo transmitter/receiver for $30:

Sennheiser makes RF set of wireless headphones:

Plus they sell random parts like wireless subwoofer kits:

Wireless rear speaker & sub kits:

How would wireless sound work with HDMI?

You have to connect the PS4 to the receiver via HDMI then to the TV. So you're already corded at that point.

You want wireless speakers? Nobody makes good ones for a reason. The technology doesn't work and you'd need to power each speaker individually so you'd have more cords to outlets.

You can do it without an A/V receiver for about $70 using a mix of equipment. 3-way HDMI splitter with input auto-detect for $12: (PS4, Roku, Cablebox)

HDMI audio extractor is $27:

Bluetooth transmitter for $29:

http://www.amazon.com/Anker-Aluminum-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Headphones/dp/B00E174RTS/

Then pick out some Bluetooth headphones or whatever. Or if you want to skip Bluetooth, companies like Sennheiser have a variety of RF headphone options available:

If you want to do 5.1, the best you can do is either make the sub wireless:

http://www.parts-express.com/dayton...itter-receiver-system-for-subwoofers--300-580

Or make the sub & rear speakers wireless:

All it does is prevent you from running a few cords, but depending on your room situation, it might be worth it. Those Vizio 5.1 soundbars do the same thing, but even easier since all you have to do is plug in the soundbar & sync the rear speakers and sub wirelessly with the push of a button.
