I want to upgrade my video card, but is a geforce 4 more than my system can handle?

I am interested in the geforce 4 4200, it seems to be in my price range.($199) I suspect the geforce 3's will be really cheap by the time it comes out and it seems more tempting to get one of those. I can't afford to upgrade my system much (video card is about it). By the time I do upgrade, geforce 4 will be ancient history, so keeping it to use in a new computer is not an option. What do you think the minimum system should be to take advantage of a geforce 4. It sure looks faster than the geforce 3 but I like a good deal too.

You'll definitely be quite processor limited, not to say it won't be nice to have a GF4... but don't expect it to perform any better then a GF3 Ti200 would in your system... or for that matter even a GF2 Ultra as your processor will be bottlenecking the card.
