Now thats an interesting question. From a gut level feeling I think not. I believe that you would be better off selling it privately and use the cash for a down payment.

But looking at it from another prespective you can sleep in your car but you cant drive your trailer. or can you?

Sorry I didn't know the truck was in the deal. Yes to truck probly no to trailer.

can't drive the trailer, but I can tow it with my truck. I want to trade both in on a car without the hassle of selling either.

edit: yeah truck too. I am going to be upside down on the trailer and need to make it a package deal to keep from it. make sense?

I've seen sillier things taken in on trade We took a go-cart once. I suppose it depends on the dealership you go to. The one I used to work for would most likely have done so...if the vehicle you were going to purchase was higher in value than the trailer and they could get a firm outside bid on the trailer.
