I think i'm going to look for some classes in the local area. Anyone ever take classes? Thoughts? Should I go Salsa or Ballroom instead?

I got PLENTY of rhythm and I always end up gettin into my own groove. But, yea...I want to put the GRR in Swinger!!

Dude, I don't think you're gonna find any latin chicks in a salsa class. They already got the moves!! True abotu the Ballroom stuff. Swing...i dunno..maybe I can get some action with a poodle skirt? I dunno...I'm just all about being thrown around and then being able to throw someone else around. And there's a LOT of movement, which keeps me in shape.

i took a ballroom class last semester and they taught us: 2-step, swing, foxtrot, tango, waltz, ... the list goes on.

If you want to learn just swing (jitterbug/lindy) then go take a swing only course.

You should learn Hollywood-style Lindy Hop.... it's SO much fun, and very difficult at the same time 🙂 I love to Lindy Hop! 🙂

How about I get the basics first and then go do the Lindy?

I did a quick search for dance schools in my area in the yellow pages and oddly enough, there's 1 and they don't teach swing. I'll google it later. Any other resources for check for this?
