I want to stop Windows Media Center live TV recording...

I found this option a while back, and disabled it for a day or so before turning it back on. Im pretty sure WMC has updated itself (without my permission) and maybe removed this option. Is it possible to disable "live TV" recording and just display the show without recording? TIA.

I'm curious...why? It stores a 30 minute buffer max. That's less than 4.5GB max even with a completely uncompressed MPEG-2 HD feed.

Edit: un-re-compressed, that is.

I was trying to troubleshoot a terrible hitching problem. There was no indication that buffering was the problem, but i wanted to try it. The problem turned out to be a bad cable (D'oh!).
