santar is correct. Here's how I do it. I boot to a Windows 98 Start Up disk. I check CD-ROM support. I FDISK then reboot. Again, I select CD-ROM support. At the A: prompt, I FORMAT /s the hard drive. When it's finished, I go to C:\ MD WIN98, then I go to the E:\ (CD-ROM) (D:\ should be the RAMDRIVE.) I go into the E:\WIN98 Directory (on the Win98 CD-ROM) and type copy *.* c:\win98. This will copy all the necessary files to the hard drive. I remove the boot floppy and reboot the PC. The computer should boot to the c:\ prompt. I CD to the Win98 directory and type setup. This works. I'm doing it now on a customer's PC. It saves a lot of time, and whenever the customer needs a file, they don't need to put in thier CD.
