Exactly how I feel. Want to play a real game? Stay in this thread.

I'll PM you when I get home. I'm tired of pubbing in the 1800 bracket, I gain 10 PSR in 3 wins and lose 10 PSR in 1 loss, so it's always three steps forward and one step back for me.

They need to add some real fucking heroes or substance to the game instead of these fake updates. They do a whole number revision every time they add a new fucking alt character skin.

I'm not that good. My friends started out with DoTA and were miles ahead of me when we got into the closed Beta. After holding back my team in almost every game, I tried to go back a few steps to play with people at my own skill level. I'm still at the beginner skill level and my friends are all playing in tournaments with 1800+ PSR. They would have to either nuke their PSR to play with me and help teach me like back in the day or create a new account.

I love this game, but I cannot get into it because of the vertical line that is the learning curve.

And you sound like a retard. He prefaced that very clearly so the same type of bullshit that happens in the LoL thread doesn't happen here. We don't care about your crappy LoL (or other games) and have no desire to segue to defend it, it's been beaten to death in other threads.

The average person is simply too incompetent and lacks the motor function and/or mental capacity to play a game like HoN. (which is primarily why LoL is so appealing, World of Warcraft style graphics and 8 year old lulz all around)

such bs and you and trident came in the LoL thread to bash early on but then turned out that it's much more popular than HoN to a degree that you can't find anyone to play with now?

There's over 30,000 people online at one time most days in HoN. It's just a matter of finding anyone you WANT to play with.

Also, LoL is free, HoN is $30.

Regardless of that, HoN is infinitely better.

I have to say that I think HoN is a fine game and I agree with wanting to keep the thread on topic by sticking with HoN talk and not reducing it to a flame war but there is no need to bash LoL in a thread about HoN when you yourself bring LoL up.

They took Defense of the Ancients from War3 and turned it into a stand alone game. I played during the betas but didn't think it deserved the $30 when it went retail. Thought of trying LOL but don't really have much continuous time to play. In these games you need to play a bit before you understand the different heroes and items.

Sounds like people on this game have the same problem that Left 4 Dead 2 has. The difference is it is much easier to find all the good and great games in Left 4 Dead 2.
