Picked up Tony Hawk pro skater from Target for $2.00 on clearance. And the old lady likes playing it also. But i can't play. The farm next door has harvested their corn. That has left about a million mice without a home now. And several of them have invaded my house.

I usually like to steal my daughters beanbag and lay on the floor playing dreamcast. but now I have these mice that dart in and out of the kitchen. Then they run from the kitchen to underneath the sofa, to underneath the entertainment center, then into the bedroom. I heard two of them fighting under the fridge last night.

In the past I have been nice and been using glue stips (which has been real effective) and dumping the mice outside. I have gotten 3 so far that way. But now they are geting bolder and won't let me play dreamcast. So now I am going for the standard mouse traps that result in mouse fatalities.

Anyone else have tips for getting rid of mice other than a cat.

Set the traps, check them daily.

Live traps if you're against killing the little bastards.

But if you don't kill them they will return.

Mix some good poison with some grain or other food they like and put it close to your house but not to close. You want to tget the mice out you have, not attract more.

Also if it is really bad look for something they can eat that will make them sterial. Will not help as much this year but will make a differeance next year.

Sad to say...but they must die in order for them to not return. Don't use rat poison either....they will eat it and crawl up into a wall and die.....leaving you with a horrible smell that you can't find the source of for a long time.

Get a cat. I'm allergic to most cats, but lucked out with the one we have now. When we boight the house, there was a mouse problem and it lingered on for 2 plus years. I had traps all over. I got a cat and I still get mice coming in every fall and spring, but the cat gets them right away. (No mice or signs of them this summer. This past week, the cat has nailed 4 of the lil bastards. We probably wouldn't have noticed those 4 until they bred and had 20 more for us to deal with.)
