I've been to one only once. Stood there for several minutes and the menu did nothing for me. I walked out.

The new steak thing might be OK.

Boston Markets are doing well around here... 2 within 5 miles. They get lines during dinner time on weeknights which is a good sign. Means the food is fresh too.

I personally love the food, but can only have it about once every 2 weeks... unlike pizza which I can have every fricken day.

Im not sure what the local competition is like but somehting like Chipotle or Papa Murphys(since you dont actually cook the food, you get REALLY low costs), might be the way to go.

Boston Market? That's a dead concept.

I dunno. For the price you pay to open a decent franchise restaurant (500k - 1mil), you can buy good established independent restaurants for sale. 500k should be able to buy you an existing business that nets around 150k/yr.

Do you have any restaurant experience? Restaurant is a tough business and hours can be extremely long.
