Actually I heard the voters for Perot were far more evenly split between Clinton and Bush then with Nader and the split between Gore and Walker, so feasibly Nader's tiny vote had a far greater influence than Perot's vote. By the way, just because I don't remember, did Perot carry any states? And what states did he do the best in?

Actually Perot voters would have gone 2-1 for Bush in '92. Similar to the effect Nader is having but MUCH worse as he pulled 19% of the vote.

Check your split figures again.

He says this with a straight face over and over when he knows perfectly well that his votes come almost exclusively from gore. This is the moron that the greens support.. i just can't beleive it. Then again its ussually the ignorant that vote for nader out of a whim. Ask them why and they just say i dunno. Ask them about the greens platform.. and they say i dunno. Ask them about naders positions... i dunno.

That is so true. People who know what the Green Party is about and still vote for Nader might as well vote for the Socialist Party too. They basically have the same goals. Sadly, most people don't know that. Why? Because Nader knows if he expressed his socialist views he would drop into obscurity.

As it stand, when people tell me they voted Nader, I ask them if they know he's a socialist. Either they don't even know what a socialist is or they get all pissed like I'm making it up.
