I want to join team anandtech in rc5! but how?

Anyways read through the FAQ's to join. All you really have to do is download the client, make sure you configure it properly(check the site how), and you'll be on your way.

A few extra things to do as well but it's all on the site.

oh crap. in the password field, i check remember this password. i put in the wrong one, now i cant join. how do i get rid of the automatic remember function? argh! oh well.

clear your cached settings in your browser.

If you clear your cookies it should remove the bad password.

Uh... do i have to wait 24hrs to get a distributed.net Password? cuz, my emails not showing up in the "search" function.. i feel stupid.

No need to feel stupid, any question asked is a good question.

You need to setup the distributed.net client, make sure to enter your correct email addy, let the client process some work units and flush them to distributed.net. After work units have been sent to distributed.net, you must wait 24 hours to get your password.

NOTE: the autosend feature doesn't work, so you will have to go to the member searcb page, enter your email addy, and when it finds it, go to the bottom of the page and click on the "send me my password" button.
