The only thing about that calculator, is that you cannot do what i was asking about heh.
you cannot say "i want to start with $3K and enter $4K/yr for 15 years, let it sit for 15 more years, and then see how much $$ i have in there"
it only allows you to see how much you have as soon as you stop putting money into it.
You can do it, in multiple steps though.
Run it once with the retirement age lowered to when you're going to stop puttin money in. Get the total and start over and put Zero for the annual contribution and adjust retirement relative to age to get total years that it will sit there.
Maybe I'm wrong, try it though.
