The damn connector is proprietary. I'm sure that the wiring isn't
I was thinking about making some sort of dongle, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen .. anyone have any experience with this?
Any help would be appreciated.
edit:
Thing is, I just cut open some earphones that I had, I wanted to wire the wires from the headphone jack to the jack on the speakers, but the wires inside the headphones are those hair-thin wires that have that coating on them, impossible to get a connection (I hate that stuff! :| )
Anyone have any ideas?
I'm thinking that the harmon kardon apple pro speakers have regular wire inside of the insulation, but I'm hesitant to cut it, the speakers aren't exactly mine. The reason that I think they are regular wires is because the speakers are clear and you can see, after the insulated part goes inside the speaker housing, right where it connects to the back of the cone, two little vanilla wires are running out to each speaker.
update:
The apple pro speakers are amplified! :Q
That little mini connector or whatever is hooked up to an internal amp. I wonder if I can power these sufficiently off of my soundblaster live value.
