Here is what would go inside:

Athlon XP 2500+ running at normal settings
Sk-7 heatsink
Radeon 9600 Pro
1 52x24x52 Lite-on cd burner
1 16x Lite-on dvd player
and 1 WD 7200 RPM 80 gig hard drive
1 TV tuner card

I have all the major components for a home theater pc but my current setup is just too large and noisy. So i want to go small and quiet. With that, comes poor cooling. It doesn't seem that the 1 92MM fan would handle all that considering its position on the case. How can i make it cool better? I was thinking about adding a 80 gig 5400 RPM hard drive but i can't even find one. Is there any good place to add a fan to it, maybe about the I/O shield? What about a PCI cooler? do they make quiet ones? How quiet is that single fan PSu? I have the antec truepower 430 and don't find it all that quiet. How quiet will everything be? What about changing the fan?

I was also kinda looking at the Sonata too but would rather have the overture. Any other quiet options? I have found a quiet power supply but it costs alot of $$$, and I have been looking at sound absorption kits but can't find anything that fits what i need. I just need something quiet for a home theater without spending $$$$$ or doing my own drastic mods.

What fan do you have on your SK7? The SK7 is a decent HS and should cool pretty well. For reference, I have an SK7/L1a combo on my 1700+ TbredB in a mid tower case where the only exhaust comes from the 120mm fan inside my Fortron 300w PSU. Max temps are 53C under full load from F@H. That chip produces 44.9W of heat. The 2500+ produces only 8.8W more and has a larger surface area. As an HTPC, your computer likely won't be loaded 100% all the time either.

I can't vouch for the PSU in the Overture other than it is probably typical Antec high quality, but my Fortron is dead silent. Unfortunately I don't think newegg carries the 300w one anymore, just the 350, which costs a bit more.

I have an YS-tech adjustable fan on it so pretty good cooling, i am just worried about airflow and heat with all my components.

I looked at the sonata with the acoustipack kit pre-cut but i can't find that in the us.

hmm, it seems that i might not even be able to get a overture because of the slot position on my abit NF7-S.

So any tips on the Sonata or more tips on the overture? I need something quiet enough not to annoy me when watching a movie.
