So I want to get a Smart Phone for Christmas - need help though!

I currently have a plan with Sprint so it would seem logical to get a phone from them (it's a family plan) - but if there is a better phone/provider/reason I am willing to switch - if it's really worth it.

Suggestions on phones - plans - etc. is greatly appreciated!

No, as Sprint offers nearly the same phone (actually, faster processor) in the PPC-6700. It's a great device, but a bit chunky and some folks don't like the slideout keyboard. Personally, I've had the TMobile version (MDA) since it came out and still love it.

Unfortunately, Sprint is a little light on their available smartphones...most are the larger models like the PPC-6700 and various Treo models (700p -- PalmOS, 700wx -- WinMo). There will be the Q with them eventually, but honestly, I'm not that big of a fan of it. Also the Blackberry 8703e is reasonably slim...but it's very business focused. Perfect if you just want email, PIM, and basic web surfing.

I just want one for occasional e-mail and mainly calender use (that can integrate with my computer). I was thinking of the Windows Mobile Treo one with Sprint.... hrm....
