One of the few pieces of software I have spent money on other than games is the Kaspersky Personal Security package. I bought it & the 2 year key from Kaspersky's website, but it presents a problem. How would I go about reinstalling once I format my C drive? I have the folders backed up on my F drive, but there is no install option within any of the folders (surely to prevent piracy). I'm sure someone else has dealt with this, so could you please help me out here? I love the software & want to continue using it, but my PC is due for a format.

They ran me around a bit last time & it was annoying. They think you're like trying to install it on another PC or something.

I hope it works out for you, but I'm glad to be aware of this. If they want to encourage people to subscribe they should be more accomodating than this.

What do you mean by "due for a format"?

I do still have the key file backup up on another drive so that might be the only realistic option. I wish they would just leave the download link available, but hey, it ain't my company. I do love the KAV and this is not a good reason to not buy it. Kaspersky is a tremendous piece of software and is extremely reliable & user friendly.
