Since Windows XP is suppose to AUTOMATICALLY detect other windows installs and ask if you want to repair it BUT this is not occuring. My only option is clean install which I'm not ready to do yet.

Anybody know a manual way to force Windows XP to re-install with the new drivers and config for the NEW mobo ?

Is it an original XP disc, without any service packs? That can happen if the drive is larger than 127gb & the xp disc has no service pack.

It's SP2 disc and 80 gig hard drive.

I used a Windows XP SP1 disc and it worked. Don't know why the SP2 disc kept skipping it, Oh well now I have to install SP2.
