I want to custom-build a plexiglas case - ideas?

I'm currently running an Athlon 1.4 rig in a crappy steel ATX case that's both noisy and hot.

As I want a box that's both relatively quiet and cool, I'm thinking of custom-building a plexiglas (or other similar material) cube case, with 120mm variable-speed case fans.

I want to do a lot more reading on this before I attempt it, but haven't had too much luck finding resources online to help me learn how to approach this.

Can anyone point me to helpful sites, share expertise, etc.?

I'm in the process of building my own. it's all acrylic and about 10x10x10 inches. bought all my pieces last week, about 40 bucks. just make sure you plan, plan, plan. know how everything's gonna come together. and talk to your local shops, the dude that helped me was very helpful. good luck! and don't forget to post pics when done.
