Hmz, no :p qx6800 is a big waste of money. Better of with a q6600 and a aftermarket HSF, and overclock the q6600 to 3ghz. It's as easy as it gets, you simply change the FSB from 266 to 333, and that's it. With a decent HSF installed, you won't have to worry about it any longer, and you save yourself roughly 750$ :p 4gb is nice for your rig, that's for sure. Personaly I'd go with a p35 mobo, like a gigabyte ds3r or asus p5k.

The money you save that way could be put towards a 8800gtx instead, and perhaps a 150gb raptor, depending on wether that would help speed things up for you in photoshop. And drop the antec PSU for a corsair 620hx.

wait 1 week and get a x38 board, or buy a p35 board now, 975 is a solid but old chipset and its replacement (x38) is due next week.
