I want to buy something like this

i heard on the radio once that some japaneese people are trying to make a room where a masage chair, and some calming noises and some other stuff can make your body think that 30 mins of sleep is a full nights rest, and so you'll only ahve to sleep 30 mins a day

exactly how does it work?

The website is kinda vague.

Also can you stay in for more than 20 minutes? If I was on an hour lunch break and hung over, I would want to spend 50 minutes in there.

very strange. Guess there's a niche market for everything...

My thoughts exactly. What the hell. Their renting you a chair to take a nap in. For 20 minutes. Granted, it looks rather comfy, but we have leather chairs in our lobby that are pretty damned comfy, and their free.

I want the pod itself, not the service. I want to buy something like that.....everytime I nap I usually oversleep so a way to get up after 20 minutes is good.

They say if you nap for more than 30 minutes you start to go into deeper sleep and will feel less rested when you wake up, unless you sleep for a full 3 hours.

looks like something you would see at ikea

I wish. Every single piece of Ikea furniture I've seen is pretty much the lowest quality pressboard I could imagine. Why anyone would want that in their homes is beyond me. There are places just about as cheap in just about every region of the country. Hell they can't make a bed more than 2 feet off the ground.
