I want to replace my aging abit board. Right now I have a pIII 700 (slot 1), 256 pc150 ram, scsi, tnt2 video, and your basic NIC, sound, and drives. I really liked the flexibility I have with my board and would like to go with them again... But if there is a better board out there, I can be pursuaded. Any suggestions would be great.

I presume you want a slot1 board for your P3,The ASUS P3V4X is a good choice if you don`t mind the Via chipset.Btw it`s a great overclocker as well.

Abit SH6

Why not go with a i815e slot one from abit. I don't know the reliability but since you have a slot CPU.

For a slot mobo yup the P3V4X is your best choice.. unfortuately you dont have a socket CPU that would make your options much more vast.
but the P3V4X is excellent mobo. i've known many systems built on that board.. very satisfactory!!
