i want to build a budget duron system.....

i'll prolly end up getting an asus a7v133 or another iwill kk266. now what speed duron should i get? i hear the 600 mhz ones o/c very well. anyone know where i can get one of these chips?

i just checked pricewatch.com and turns out that there are only about 5 vendors that have the duron 600. ranging from about $41-$54.
i'am not sure though how good those vendors are, may want to check resellerrating.com first to see the reviews the vindors got.

also, how were you able to OC your t-bird 1.0 ghz to 1.4ghz. i was only able to get mine up to about 1.3 ghz but certain apps were crashing.

could you possibly tell me what your settings were like cpu clock,multiplier, and vcore setting

For Duron's, the 750 is the best deal. Pick one up at Newegg for I believe, $37 shipped. You can probably oc' it close to 1Ghz.
