You want to go to school for it or gain a job? There's lots of excellent robotic programs in the states and a ton of robotic work, but you didn't say what kind of robotics you'd like to go into, as it's a pretty broad field.
 
As mentioned earlier, define what kind of robots you are talking about?!?
