I want to alter audio files for a FPS game?

anyone know what files I should be looking for.ive found nothing so far in the game folders...I assume its all in one big coding file or something?

help plz...


In the game you can use preset emotions to taunt the other plays like one of the preset ones goes "wooooooohoooooooo" I want to record my own and save over it...it would be pretty cool...

usually the game will only play those kinds of sounds for the client. It doesn't send the sound through the net, just the command to activate the sound.

That being said, any program that has an SDK (software developer's kit) for allowing modding should let you break down the game files to get at things like the sounds and such. You may want to Google for some modding sites for whatever game you're talking about. There is sure to be a game specific step by step somewhere.
