I have an Antex SX1030b (charc black from newegg) and a blue rectangle window kit (sorry, no pics yet). I want to add some lighting, but haven't experienced any installations. I know I want it bright and maybe a blacklight. Everything I read recommends Cathrodes over Neon for heat & durablility. I don't have anything really worth showing off inside, yet, but If I get a black light I can get white cables or even white tape to glow in the light.

I looked at pcmods & crazypc. What about glow wire (I think that's what it's called)? I don't want to spend too much money. Again, just want to add some lighting for now.

:) Thanks in advance...

Try a cheap neon from an auto parts store, mod it with molex connector or just hardwire it. I run mine off a simple cliff's fanbus. If neon is not good enough order a cold cathode kit now on sale at this site for $23.95.

I started with red and blue neon lights from the auto parts store. They're a good inexpensive way to put lights in your case. I still have a small pair of red ones in the lower front of my case. They really look sharp behind the black filter over the intake fan. (Better pics will be up soon but you can see some now here.)

I "graduated" to a red cold cathode tube from PCMods for a main light. I'm thinking about adding a black light to go along with it. In anticipation of that I added some white wire wrap (split loom) to the red I was already using.

I had a string of blinking super-miniature yellow christmas lights that would run off 6 volts. I took out the little circuit board from the battry pack, and then I stuck the leads into the 5v part of a molex. I now have blinking christmas lights taped to my case.
