Actually I read an article on these a few years back in Autoweek. Apparently they're popular with emissaries in foreign countries. From standing to firing in 2 seconds with a quick-release hatch. The gun on the top is usually mounted on the front of attack helicopters and can level a cinder block wall in 30 seconds.

The floor is replaced with metal grating and a chute to dispose of any live shells that might drop so they don't accidentally go off later.
