Ugly rims, huge as rear wing, and a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine tweaked to the max. No matter how much horsepower it has, it is still just a four and doesn't get my respect. And the chassis has been around since '76

Very nice car. Does the "extended length" keyring (hanging from the ign switch) come with it?

I've always had a thing for those cars. I sat in one once, and I have to say that they are pretty uncomfortable. Unless you are a freak whos legs are offset to the right a good six inches. ;)

They look quite ugly to me ;) Just like the rims on the Corvette are ugly in my eyes

I think this was discussed before, but when you say that something is rice does it have anything to do with Asian people?

I somewhat agree with nfs4s assessment.

A nice ride if you like the looks and that is personal but a tweaked 4 and old chassis?? Like the car but 38k??

Still like my 58 Vette back but 38K??? only if it satisfies a need and then go for it.

BTW, your money, your choice. ENJOY !

NSF4--

Like the porsches a lot but feel that they are overpriced and I feel the same way about a 6 as you do about a 4. Well, guess that they are all overpriced in some way.

Enjoy your ride.

Exactly, 38k for THAT? I mean as much as I dislike the new Corvette, you could get a Z06 model for about 2k more and get a much more reliable and faster car that is BRAND NEW with 0 miles on it.

Sixes have way more balls than 4's and some have more balls than V8's ;) The stock flat-6 in the 911 pumps out 300HP. The inline-6 in the BMW M3 pumps out 330HP.

Come to think of it, just an hour ago, my hallmate across from me and I got into a heated debate over the the Esprit. He loved it and of course I told him I thought it was a piece of old, dried up dog sh!t, with the 3.5 liter V8 the only thing keeping the "heap" a little moist ;)

He also didn't like the fact that I thought that the Camaro was too big, has a cheapass interior, and looks like crap (although I didn't knock it's engine and performance). He says that performance is all that matters while I countered that looks and reliablity/quality/workmanship should also factor into that equation.

Exactly, you have a good point Brandon. :)
Looks aren't exactly everything but they are important.

Well, what does your room mate know?
Look at the Firebird for quality interior and performance.

You are right, a lot of 6s have good performance. My girlfriend just got a Grand Am V6 with Ram Air (hee hee, what a joke) but it is quite peppy.

Trans Am pictures

Maybe youve seen these before.

I was confused when I read this.

Lotus... Type R..

I thought: "Wow! an Elise with a type-R engine??"
