I want the new Apple G4....but I wanna put linux on it!

Seriously...I love the Motorola CPU in that, and with ATI's Radeon showing up on that platform inevitably, I think Apple is starting to show some serious high performance. But I hate MacOS and won't even touch it until MacOS X comes out. I know there's a linux distro out there, but will it install well? Moreover, should I just stick to PC hardware considering they type of money the Apple will cost? There hardware is just so tweaked out...now at least...not before.

Heh. Just don't get the toaster g4. That thing has no expandability whatsoever.

No, I'll stick to that really cool looking blue/transparent "classic" G4 case. I wouldn't mind trying the "buttonless" mouse they have for it now.
