I want some Tetra Neons

I haven't had any fish or anything before, but I like the look of tetra neons. I think they look cool.

But where do I start? How many do I get? What size fish tank? What do I need in the fish tank? Anything to look out for?

But based on when I was younger and had fish, figure a gallon of water per inch of fish, so you could fit a good amount of tetras in a 14 gallon tank which isn't too big or too small of a tank.

Agreed on posting on another forum. But to give you some real advise. Go to your local pet store and ask. If all else fails, buy one of those starter 10 gallon tank kits. It comes with everything you need.

get a 20 gallon aquarium
set it up and wait about a week
get the smallest baby neons the fish shop has, start with about 6-8, then after a month, you can add another 6-8

lol...don't add the oscer he will eat them....in fact if you buy other fish make sure they are not anymore aggresive then the tetras.
