I know most Wing fans cant stand Fedorov right now. But I hope that we get him back. I think he was the best player for us. Yes he was a female dog every once and awhile but we need him. People are talking about Detroit's blue line but without forwards to put pressure on the other team they will beat the Wing's D. Yes we got players like Brett Hull and Brendan Shanahan scoring 30+ goals each. Yzerman, Henrik Zetterberg, Pavel Datsyuk scoring 20+ goals. But with Yzerman down to one leg Zetterberg is going to have to take Fedorov place. Zetty is a great player but I dont think he could do what Fedorov can do when it comes time to be there. I mean who gave the Wings a chance with that last second goal in game four.
Don't get me wrong Fedorov is not worth $10million+ a year. More like $8-$9million a year. I just hope that Fedorov understands that Detroit is the best team for him to play with. He will get paid alot of money and have a chance to win another Cup. Once Yzerman is done with this season it could be Fedorovs team. He wont have the C but they will count on him alot more.
