Toasted tomato sandwiches!

Multigrain toast
On one side a thin layer of mayo
on the other a healthy layer of cream cheese and my super secret ingrendient Thai Red Curry Paste (any brand) don't use a lot or you'll die.
Red Leaf Lettuce
Thinly sliced Red Onion if available
Beefsteak Tomato slices (as many as you can fit)
Salt Pepper

Yum

Trying it for lunch today! I think the spicey from the curry paste will be so nice with the cream cheese.

djheater's steak sandwich is probably one of my favorites, I make the exact thing almost everytime we have leftover steak.

Grouper Reuben: Fried grouper, sauerkraut, swiss cheese on rye, grill, add russian dressing.

Grilled chicken, hummus, spinach, tomato in a pita.

Leftover meatloaf, american cheese, mayo on white bread. Simple, delicious.

Sometimes I buy cheap minute steaks and cook, cool and slice. Steak, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cheddar, mayo and lots of hot sauce in a toasted pita. It's awesome.

Portabella sandwich: grilled balsamic-marinated portabellas, avocado, pepper jack, sprouts, tomato, red onion on a multigrain roll.

Pulled pork, vinegar-based bbq sauce, and coleslaw on potato rolls.

mmm...I love sandwiches. Recommended viewing

Make two steaks medium rare. Eat one immediately and refridgerate the other.
The next day take a very good knife and slice the steak very thin.
Lightly toast your good bread and lay the steak out on it. Sprinkle bleu cheese on top and nuke for less than ten secs to take the cold off.
Salt and pepper to taste
Use real mayo, brown mustard and spring mix and the best tomatos you can lay your hands on.

There's a sandwich place aroung my job that makes a sandwich very close to this... it's like heaven between 2 slices of bread...

swiss cheese
mustard
green leaf lettuce
slice of tomato
purple onion
dash of black pepper

Lola

Thick sliced fresh whole grain bread
Hard salami (4 slices, thin)
Bibb lettuce
Meunster cheese
2 slices ripe tomato (yellow or beef steak)
3 slices ripe, but still firm avacado
real mayo

assemble and enjoy with a side of juicy watermelon.

The thing about my favorite sandwich is that the tomatoes must be fresh off the vine and still warm from the sun. All of the flavors blend extremely well together. The avacado mellows the saltiness of the meat and the tanginess of the tomato tastes great with the "butteriness" of the lettuce.

I just had a fried egg sandwhich on whole wheat toast.

Fry an egg in butter, salt and pepper to taste.

put on buttered whole wheat toast, something substantial like Catherine Clarks Brownberry Natural whole wheat.

could add Hellman's mayonaise and lettuce, but not necessary.

Breakfast Sandwiches!

Everything bagel (fresh baked) toasted and lightly buttered
Scrambled eggs beat with a dash of heavy cream or whole milk yogurt Fried in Olive oil
1 slice American Cheese <-- Melts best, though my sis-in-law prefers to mix grated cheddar into her eggs wile cooking, and that's good too.
Two link Sausages (your choice Brown Sugar is good, but I prefer sage). cut lengthwise

Assemble
Bagel Bottom
Egg
Salt + Pepper to taste (use fresh ground black pepper)
Cheese
Sausage
Bagel Top

Cut in half paralell to the sausage or it disintegrates while you're eating it :D

Elvis' Fools Gold Loaf

- 1 loaf Italian white bread
- 2 tbsps butter
- 1 lb lean bacon
- 1 jar smooth peanut butter
- 1 jar grape jelly
Serves: Elvis (8-10 people)

Cooking: Slather the butter all over the loaf's entire exterior surface. Then toss it onto a baking sheet in a 350-degree oven for around 15 minutes or until browned. Meanwhile, fry the bacon -- lean, for "health" purposes.

Assembly: Slice the loaf lengthwise, then hollow it out, for ample room to glob on the entire jars of peanut butter and jelly. Carefully arrange the bacon slices over the PB&J (presentation is everything). Close the loaf, and prepare yourself for kingly transcendence.

Oh yeah, here's another one:

Curry chicken salad (diced grilled chicken breast, plain yogurt, red curry paste, halved red grapes) on a croissant with romaine & tomato.

Super easy, too. I ripped it off from Au Bon Pain. They put apples in their chicken salad too, but I'm not a big fan, I usually end up with a sandwich with more fruit than chicken.

Really, though, a nice and easy sandwich:

1 whole grain sub-style roll
1 slice skim mozzerella
Turkey, sliced thin, in whatever amount you'd like
Basil to taste
Oregano to taste
2 slices tomato
Icebeg lettuce

Slice the roll lengthwise. Put cheese on one half and place both halves in a conventional oven. When the cheese is bubbly, open the oven and add the basil and oregano to the cheese. Top the other slice with turkey, then toast again. Remove the sandwich, top the turkey half with lettuce and tomato, close, and enjoy!
