I want Norton to automatically do PROGRAM updates

Can Program updates be downloaded and installed automatically? i don't get any notice when their available.

Automatic Update is taking care of protection updates
 
liveupdates can either alert you when they are available or be downloaded/installed without user intervention. The option is there... in the liveupdate tab --> How to keep your virus protection updated.
 
the virus protection happens fine but it's the program updates for NAV i am trying to find out on. they don't seem to install without user intervention and i'd like to learn if they can. and sometimes i don't get notified that program updates are available.

this is on a xp pro, sp2, admin account.

Well as you can see from the title of the section, it only deals with virus protection. There is no automated way to update Norton components - I've always had to manually do that (through Liveupdate also).
