I purchased a Hauppague USB tv/fm tuner and when I go to install the drivers from the included cd-rom It stops half way through copying and ask for the win98 cd then it tells me that it cant find "ks.sys" and so I press skip file and it says "error code 69, windows was unable to install the device". Anyone know why this file is not on the hauppauge disk? I also downloaded the latest drivers and I get the exact same problem?

try forcing it to look in the following areas

C:\windows
c:\windows\system
c:\windows\system32

Also when install drivers, sometime certain file are placed elsewhere and windows has a hard tim finding it.

Do you have windows 98, 98 se or win2k? If not then win95 has little or no support for USB.

Yes and that is where is says file not found. Wow I like these forums... I just posted and two minutes later someone is replying...cool! And the file is not on the hauppauge disk. Why would Hauppage not include this file?

Yes I have win98se Amd athlon 750 abit mobo 198 mb ram aureal sound and geforce 2. Should I just go back to the old ATI all in wonder 128?
