From this THREAD

I got into an argument w/a trainer at my gym. I was suppose to get 4 30min sessions for joining, but i only got 2. he kept making up excuses (like a 40min session counts as 2 even tho 15min of that was his sales pitch for more sessions.)

i knew these "free" sessions was just a backhanded way for a sales pitch. so i didnt care much.

anyway, i'm not usually one that argues for stuff that means little to me. but instead of accepting his story story about 40min=2 sessions, then at a later date claim it was an hr session, i stood my ground.

and i've contemplated taking to the mgr of the gym about him and his shady unprofessionalism. but i'm probably not going to spend anymore time/energy/effort on this since i didnt expect much from these sales pitches anyway. (am i rationalizing the way i've been mistreated?)

Anyway, i found that i enjoyed the arguement. or is it because it's something new, and new is a novelty that will wear thin soon?

I suggest starting arguments with random people on the street.

Didn't you have a thread a while back saying that you are successful, have much of what you want, but are still brutally unhappy?

When the day comes when you are miserable, you will look back when your life was "boring" and cry like a baby yearning for nostalgia.

Thought so.

You enjoyed the argument because as a wholly unsatisfied person you will enjoy any opportunity to validate yourself.
