I can't play my library tunes off MusicMatch because I get error c00d2711. I know it's related to the new service pack. I can't listen to Nelly and Young Gunz!!

*Shakes fist in air... "Damn you Bill Gates!! Damn you to hell!!"

There are like eleventy billion programs that will not work, or work differently with SP2.

Why install SP2, anyway? If you do and something no longer functions correctly, just uninstall and reinstall that program to see if it'll fix it. If windows gets to the point where nothing functions with it anymore, you may as well switch to Linux. 😀 😛

I don't do enough hardcore image/video editing to warrant buying an opperating system that sucks balls at everything except hardcore image/video editing.

That's because you're not just the average user who bashes the hell out of their box. You've probably got a nice and stable install that's months or years old. 😛 Most people who have PCs don't know how to take care of their OS installs.

thats why i havent installed it yet on my main comp, i installed it on my file server and that still serves files just fine

I wonder about bootscreens, SP0 wouldn't boot with a SP1 bootscreen (if you customize), and Sp1 not with a Sp0 bootscreen. I am guessing I'd have to remake all of my Bootscreens using the Ntstokrnl (?) from Windows SP2.

Microsoft should give a self-booting CD-rom ISO for free with some sort of ghosting software capable of burning to a CD-rom. Maybe even have it back up the entire windows install, since MS is the only one that knows what affects what inside Windows. That way, people merely back up their Windows install/registry, and should it go to hell, they can always use the CD-rom made from before to restore.
