I want a relatively fast hard drive and I don't need too much room...

RIght now I am running WIn95 with Halflife and Diablo II on 3.2Gig hard drive. Considering the least room the sell em with is about 15Gigs, it seems that would be ok...Unless a more advanced windows takes up a lot of room. Anyway, fast is good,or so I've heard, like 7200RPMs and I like cheap too. Any suggestions?

P.S. What the HELL is WinMe and how expensive is it???

I would suggest an IBM drive, they are generally regarded as top of the line. They can be found at reasonable prices, too

Windows ME is the latest microshaft os, still based on the windows 95/98 core. It will cost you 89 bucks to upgrade win 95. 🙁

Microshaft..😛 well, what is the great big attraction that windoes me has, considering that every single version of windows is basically the same thing, except your old hardware won't work with it? :/ <---i hope that ends up an angry face

Heh, yeah i have to agree...I'd have to go with an IBM drive, but if your going to get one, get the IBM 75gxp 15.2 gig, i was going to get one of those, but turned out no money. They're supposedly really fast, one of the fastest, and not too spendy, probably now for about $100

look for sam's club's $59 20GB 7200rpm WD drive. Look for detail in hot deal forum. Fast enough for normal usage.
