Growl. I want a Radeon 9700. What retail store can I go to and pick one up?

It's driving me mad!

Yes, I know I'll get screwed from the retail price but I'll use AMEX so I can price match. I just want one now!

I've heard traditional retail outlets such as CompUSA will have them sometime the first week of September. Newegg will have it on September 6. You'd better act fast as I am sure they will sell out fast.

I was thinking about getting the one from newegg since I'll probably be ordering few more items from them anyways, they have ones from Sapphire

Ummm... It better be ATI! I didn't know Sapphire was already making them.

Personally, I would NEVER buy one from Sapphire. I bought a 7000 or 7500 from them for a client and it's been NOTHING but a headache for me.

This is the fastest video card I have ever seen..............

11900 3dmarks on my AthlonXP 1900+, 512mbDDR, default bench.

Is that all you get with your rig? I thought the 9700s were getting like 14k .... maybe it was just on OCed p4s though.... for reference... i get about 11500 with my 1600+AGOIA@1.73 GHZ and my Ti4600@320/720

The 14's were on OC'd P4's.
