I want a pet owl

wouldn't a pet hawk or falcon or kite (sp?) be better?

also, are you a harry potter freak? or were you into owls way before the harry potter thing took off?

Well, owning an owl is illegal anyway, but I've always thought it's be neat to have one. I liked them long before Harry Potter was published.

Uh, there are quite a few species of owls, lol...

They're not all endangered/protected.

 
Pet rats are way cooler. 😉 The little guy is curled up on his little pet bed, sleeping while I type.

Falconry is a high maintenance sport. Theres also a fair amount of training involved. I looked into it earlier this year, but at this point in my life I simply dont have the time or space to devote to falconry. If I remember you need a training, facilities and a license before getting the OK to own a bird.

Something I still plan on doing, but not doable at this point in my life.
