I currently have a Asus geforce 3 ti200. My motherboard supports maximum 4x agp with a 2000+xp AMD.

I dont know what i should get. I want a card that will run HL2 and other new games. Should i upgrade my system and spend alot of money on a new pciexpress card or go for something like 6600GT (but remmber about my 4x agp limit).

What card do you guys suggest i should get?

6600gt, it supports 4x, PLUS it uses shader model 3.0 and that will be a MUST for future games, and the 6600gt will run future games well (this comes from people that make the unreal 3 engine)...

6600gt is your best buy, and get it from leadtek, it is awesome (i have one)

no it shouldnt be...half life 2 performs like crap on every computer with its stuttering though, but besides that you should be fine.

Yeah, 6600gt would be a good plan.

Depending on what happens in the future it might be a problem to have an AGP card when you want to upgrade your CPU and motherboard, but AGP should be around long enough (depending on when you're planning on upgrading that is 😉).

no, its at stock 500/900...it isn't a super overclocker, but it is quality, remember that.

leadtek, not leadtech...lol im picky, but i heart leadtek so much that i have to spell it right.

good choice though, and enjoy 😉

will it work on my 4x agp slot?

i read somewhere something about supporting 0,8V AGP3 port, but i dont know what that means.

is the leadtech over clocked by default?

No, but the build quality with leadtek is top of the line. Good choice!
