a 40"LCD (720p) looks excellent @ 1360x768 for websurfing. my wife has to watch a lot of webcasts for her work and now i just hook up the vga cable and the tv/monitor is crystal clear - easily as clear as the laptop (ibm t42) screen or my samsung 730b lcd.

i was going to go the 1080p route but figured i wanted to possibly game on this unit so this way i can game easily at 1360x768 or 1280x720 with my current machine no problem. and if i want to build a cheap htcp i could easily go a ati x850xt or even something a bit lower and still have good fps at the lower resolution of only 1360x768.

so make sure you are only going to surf or if you plan on gaming make sure your machine can handle the resolution you want.
