i want a gamecube

essential games and add-ons? what are they worth? ebay? half.com? FS/T? amazon?

im lost on console purchasing, as i havent owned one since i had a SNES years and years and years ago.

HELP!

i need a few good singleplayer games, a few 2 player games that are fun, nothing too serious. maybe a good rpg (definitely want zelda) and who knows what else.

chime in, gamecube owners. im not interested in a playstation 2 or an xbox, at all. my bro who lives with me has a ps2, and my other brother has an xbox and im not fond of it.

im looking to get something between now and christmas, dont reccomend black friday deals if there are any to be had, i work that day so it wont matter. ill probaly get a xbox360 sometime around april for my birthday, but id like a gamecube in the meantime

Go get the super smash bros pack if you can find it. $99 for the cube, 2 controllers and smash brothers (which is one of the best multiplayer games EVER)

The last gamecube game I was into was Zelda: 4 swords. We only played 2 player though, its cool becausse you play on the tv and on the gba. Zelda WindWaker was fun too.

umm avoid muppet party cruise.. it is the most boring game ever.

you can't get new ones with a digital port anymore, so if that matters to you get an old one. Resident Evil 4 is my personal pick for best game of this generation.

I got the Ethernet port to play Mario Kart Double Dash online using Warp Pipe, plus you might find more nefarious activities are possible with it, even running linux on it....

My local Best Buy had a Gamecube bundle for about $160. Had The cube, extra controller, mem card and three games. One was Tony Hawk, cant remember the others.

It was in a huge blister pack with a handle, probably some holiday deal.

i would recomend the above bundle, since it comes with an xtra controller. MP7 is 49.99 by itself. So basically the gc costs $50.

at anyrate, i just recently got interested in this console since it is cheap with tons of game available.

i think the mod chip technology for this console is top notch too.

i just got one after christmas with mario party 7 and extra controller
i had a $40 BB GC from christmas so i got it from BB
the kids like the mario games
