Since shipping might be a bit high, you might want to see if its heat causing the artifacts. Could be easy to fix yourself. Check the heatsink & fan. Make sure the heatsink hasn't come loose and check to make sure the fan is spinning like it should. Might check for dust in the card's heatsink too.
