i live in india.

bought r9800pro from us,shows artifacts after owning it for several months,what should i do.

my relative/family says that they charge 100$ for authencity that it isn't working fine.

what shud i do?
 
I don't see anything about that in the warranty terms, I don't know how they deal with overseas warranty service, but there's no non-shipping related charge as long as it's under warranty (which your 9800p is).

They shouldn't charge you anything unless you want to cross ship, and then they'll require a sort of deposit so that if you never send in your card, they don't get screwed. But that deposit is refunded when they receive the broken card.

Since shipping might be a bit high, you might want to see if its heat causing the artifacts. Could be easy to fix yourself. Check the heatsink & fan. Make sure the heatsink hasn't come loose and check to make sure the fan is spinning like it should. Might check for dust in the card's heatsink too.
