i wanna play xcom2!

i just put my new p4 2.4gig w/ geforce4 together!!! so, what do i want to do? play XCom2 Terror From the Deep!!!!!! how do i get this thing to slow down so i can control stuff? i looked for a post about this on anandtech, but i couldn't find anything... anyone know a good program to do this? i haven't played this game in years....

Hmm, I think the name of the program was SloMo or something like that. It allowed you to slow down your computer to run older applications. I remember seeing it somewhere on these boards....

I tried Mo'Slo but it seemed to make certain parts of the game go slower, but not others. for instance, when i moved the mouse, the cursor would take several seconds to react and move, but the screen would scroll so fast that all i can see are the very edges of the map. it's really frustrating. i love this game...
