Hey all,
I recently picked up a 1998 Toyota Tacoma (standard cab, 2x4 2.4L 142hp) and I really don't like the tires that came with the truck. Looks all wussy, slim looks like car tires almost. So now I want to get some bigger tires and rims fo my little Taco. Now I don't have hardly any car experience but am willing to learn.
What I want are some nice looking tires, larger and wider. I'll be putting on some new shocks when I can afford it. What I'm asking is what size and brand should I get. I know bigger tires will affect mpg and my speedometer, but are there any other considerations? How can I tell what the ideal size should be? I do enjoy offroading so that is a factor as well.
And lastly how much do you think it'll all cost? Including rims.
oh yeah this is what I want my ride to look like when I'm all finished with it. I know tires won't do the whole thing, but I figure it the first step in the right direction.
Thanks dudes.Taco I want <--pictuer isnt working yet but I'm working on getting the mofo up.
