I used PLAY for video capture - anything better out there?

I used PLAY. Small piece of hardware which attached to the printer port on the pc and it would capture images at resolution up to 1024/768

I need to capture more images and some video in the future but on win2K or WInxp soon

Anyone knows of a system -internal/expternal to capture video images? I preffer internal if anyone has good experience.

I will need it for a production environment and it wil be for semi-industrial use. I have an industrial microscope wich had a
very good light source and like 3000X magnification for small parts. It has an RCA output for the video.

Anyone can suggest anything? I would like to stay in the low cost, because I dont know how long my company will be around anymore
but the best i can get for the money at a reasonable performance level.

What did the other end connect to? A camcorder? Digital Camera? Scanner? Directly to the microscope? Sorry.. but this confused me and as much as I'd like to recommend something for you I can't until this gets clarified.
