Yeap, those silly manual toofbrushers just don't cut it. I bought a $40 Colgate electric toofbrush and I'm thrilled.

Been using a Braun for a while now. Its great for when I come home late and really don't have the energy to brush. Plus its cleaner:)

I actually used the cheap one with the AA battery :(

I wanted to try how it works...

My toothbrush is very cheap, too. It's the Oral B Cross Action, I think. One AA battery. Inexpensive, but it works very, very well. My back teeth are difficult to clean with a regular brush, but the Cross Action is really great.

What kind of tooth brush is it? I used to have a Braun and it wasn't that weird, but when I bought a Sonicare, I thought that it was really strange. It probably cleans better, but it's kind of annoying to me, so I don't use it that often.

They're like $15 each and last 6 months.

Apply toothpaste to the brush, then kind of smear/lather it on your teeth like you were brushing normally. After that, turn it on. No muss, no fuss, no bother. *

those spinners aren't as good as brushes that have reciprocating motion. thats why they are so cheap and use aa's ;)

i've used oral b's and sonic care, i prefer the sonicare. more head area, and the unit seems more solid. vibration/movement more refined. well the sonicare hasn't broken yet atleast, i went through a couple oral b's... over time liquid seeps into unit through top which is rather disgusting, i took a few apart when they jammed and found tons of rust and sediment.

I use oralb, the cheapest one. I got mine for $12 after MIR. Heads are pretty cheap at costco.
I am on my third one, so they do die every 2 years or so for some reason.
