I unlocked my Athlon XP and achieved amazing speeds

Yep, the proof is in the pic. CPUID shot.

I actually unlocked the CPU long ago. I'm just having fun with it today. Whats odd is that the 14x multiplier gives me 5x and the 15x is 5.5x with my MSI KT266A Pro2.

So what's the amazing speed that you achieved? The pic that you linked to only shows the 5x multiplier. I'm running the same mboard (RU version) and 1610 Mhz is as high as I've tried to get my unlocked 1600+ so far (at default voltage). I'm running it at 1540 now (140x11).

The amazing factor is it's unamazing speed. I found it amusing to run a high-speed processor in the fathoms of what is now referred to as outdated processing speed. Oh well, not many people will find it as entertaining as I have. Another Tool inspired moment brought to you by Adam.

Actually his screenshot shows that the processor is running at 499.02 Mhz at 5x multiplier. I just thought maybe he posted the wrong link since I was expecting a link to an "amazing" speed.

BTW Madrat....your link points to an Athlon XP unlocking article, not a multiplier chart. If you've got the link I'd like to check it out tho!

Thanks

Scitex
