My signature was in my profile several years ago I do not know why it vanished but if you are going to lock my thread for that reason and then lock my next thread because I have an ebay link in my sig. wouldn't it be better to just tell someone everything they have wrong immediately during the first PM and thread lock? Not to mention the last time I posted here the ebay thing was allowed.

Just seems like you guys look for reasons to give somebody a hard time.

That was insightful...

Well, he's correct. If you have a problem with or question about moderation, that is the place for it. And it looks to me like you really are not so clear about the rules. When you haven't posted for 3 years, it's always wise to read the rules and procedure threads to see if any changes have been made in that time.

You have still not made some of the changes outlined here.

The no ebay link has been a rule just about as far back as I can remember. Just a bit over 4 years ago, one of the admins sent you a PM to remove the ebay myworld link from your signature. So, 4 years ago, it was a simple private message. Without looking, I'm not sure if you never removed it, or if you put it back in and forgot that it was a rule.

Sometimes, the action taken will depend on the moderator/admin and their level of permissions inside the forum software. Some of us with the ability to edit your signature might have simply chosen to take that route & send you another PM with why it was done. Not many of us have that ability though. I'm assuming that the moderator who did give you the infraction did so after seeing that you had previously violated this rule & were given a gentle PM the previous time. Thus, "Just seems like you guys look for reasons to give somebody a hard time" doesn't really seem true in this case.
