I turned on my computer just to post this!!

So about 15 minutes ago, I was working on some school stuff with JUST my desk lamp on . . .

I went to the bathroom and on the way, I tripped over my phone cord

Somehow I grabbed the phone and pushed the buttons in such a way that it dialed 9-1-1 (how? I don't know)

So I hung up, went into the bathroom (2 feet away from the phone, this is my bedroom)

And so I'm in the bathroom and ALL OF A SUDDEN, the phone rings and I'm like "WhoTF is calling at this time??"

I answer :

"911 Emergency Response! What is your emergency?!"''

Haha, I wanted to joke around with her a little bit and say that my emergency was that I had to go to the bathroom quick, but now, I'm glad I didn't.

Otherwise, the PD and FD would be at my house right now and oh, would I be embarrased

what are the odds of that...do you have the emergency hot keys on your phone? maybe you hit one of those?

I think I grabbed the phone in such a way that my thumb pushed 9 and my index finger (or bottom part of it) pushed 1

(left hand)

i think thumb first pushed 9

then index finger held 1

so it went through as 911111111111111111

that could be it, i never really set up this phone, but it was in another room before, so that's possible

at my work you had to dial *9 to get an outside line,
my coworker hit * 9-1-1 800 blahblah,
trying to call an 1-800 # ,the call went to the local emergency operator,and he swore at the lady,and then hung up!!

The cops,and fire dept showed up about 3 mins later!
